Four Aussie blogs for exercising brain cells
I read the following religiously:
- The Bartlett Diaries, by Democrat Senator Andrew Bartlett. Thoughtful essays on social issues, include insights you won't glean from the newspapers.
- Planet Irf, by Sydney-based lawyer Irfan Yusuf. Gently challenges orthodox thinking in Australian and Muslim politics, media and society.
- The Fourth Estate, by new media consultant Mike Walsh. Convincing analysis of media and technology trends.
- Criticality, by Steve Edney. Pulls apart the numbers and assumptions behind many claims that are made about the environment and Australian society.

Thanks Stephen... i'm sure I don't deserve to be in such illustrious company. All the best. Mike.
Mate, thanks for the plug. Hopefully I can actually find a way of living upto it!
